How many times have you woken up and thought, “I wanna listen to some doomjazz, but I’m just so bored of the LP records I have…” Fret no longer friend, I have the solution!
NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL DOOMJAZZ ’88 is the new playlist from Hammer Hurrah Industries.
100 tracks carefully compiled by the souls of 1970s AM radio DJs in the bardo, industrialised, and kept perpetually in limbo to ensure only the finest quality doomjazz makes the cut (if you’ll excuse the pain).
Anyway, I can’t stand around here chatting all day, I need to start my doomjazzercise Youtube class, and it takes twenty minutes to get my midnight black lycra on!
The playlist refreshes overnight exploring doomjazz (and possibly some darkjazz, maybe even a little noir jazz) so expect the usual suspects of The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation, The Thing With Five Eyes, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, The Dale Cooper Quartet, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, etc, etc.
Enjoy! (but don’t really)
Would be great if you can include anything from NEONNOONE:
