Sufjan Stevens’ All Delighted People
2010 may be Sufjan Stevens’ year.
Having been disappointed to hear he may not complete his project to record an album for every state, that soon turned to panic as it looked like he may not record anything again.
Then in August 2010 without much fanfare All Delighted People fell from Asthmatic Kitty onto Bandcamp. Described as an EP despite being just over an hour, it showcases Mr Stevens’ tendencies towards prog, musical theatre, choral and pretty much anything else you might think to be a horrible melting pot. It’s not. It’s amazing.
